Linen at 100% is a different thing from a linen blend. It is cooler, it drapes rather than holds, and it is the only trouser fabric that still works when everything else has given up — which is the back half of August, on a terrace, at four in the afternoon.
It creases. That is linen, and anyone selling you a pure linen trouser that does not crease is selling you a blend with linen in the name. If the creases bother you, buy the cotton–linen instead; if they do not, this is the better trouser.
