This one has a soft corduroy outer and a plush fleece lining, which is where the warmth comes from. Button front, several working pockets, and a cut relaxed enough for a knit underneath.
It runs small — size up if you want room for layers. It also goes in the washing machine on a gentle 30°C, which a wool jacket never will.
